Navigating the Paytable dashboard

Just signed up to Paytable and need a hand getting to grips with your dashboard? This guide covers exactly what each page within your navigation does, along with common queries answered for each page.

1. The Admin Dashboard

The Admin Dashboard includes: Sites, Account, Billing, Help and Payouts as shown below.

Sites (overview page showing your Paytable sites) This is where all of your sites are listed. Create a new site or manage your current sites from this page at any time.

A site essentially consists of a Members area (this is where your Airtable document is accessible from), a Homepage (think of this as your sales page), a login page and a payment/registration page.

Account

Go to this page to logout from Paytable.

Billing Here you can review our available plans and manage your billing and subscription information at any time. You can update your payment card details, change your plan and retrieve you’re invoices. You’ll need to subscribe to one of our plans when you are ready to publish your ‘Site’.

Payouts

Head here to connect up your Stripe account so you can charge users to access your product. You can set your currency and ensure you have onboarded correctly with Stripe, ready to accept payments. Until you connect to Stripe, you won’t be able to create paid memberships or charge for access to your Members Area.

2. The Site Dashboard

Each site has its own Dashboard, accessed by clicking ‘Manage Site’ in the Admin Dashboard.

Builder Our brand new site builder is where you will create your Members area (where your Airtable document is accessible from), a Homepage (which is an optional sales landing page), and your Pricing (what you want users to pay to access your Members Area).

You can also access all the URLs you’ll need to start promoting your site (e.g. Homepage URL and Login page URL) from the ‘Share’ tab.

When you are ready to publish your Site you can also do this by clicking the ‘Start trial to publish’ button on the top right hand side of the page. You’ll also be able to view your Members area and Homepage before you publish by clicking ‘View draft’.

Publish

Once you have signed up for one of our plans your status will change from ‘Save as offline draft’ to ‘Publish to a .paytable.site URL’.

You can however add your own custom domain, from the ‘Publish’ page by selecting ‘Publish to a custom domain’ and entering the necessary details.

You can also setup your site SEO settings and add a favicon from within the ‘Settings’ tab.

Activity

Track sales, logins & all your subscriber activity form here. Get a step by step overview of how your users interact with your site from within your Activity page.

Users Manage your users, add new users, bulk import users & more from within here. You can also navigate to a single user overview page showing their activity only and giving you the option to update a user’s login information at any time.

Automation

Add new subscribed users at Paytable form ANY trigger, or send data from Paytable to your CRM or other app using a simple outgoing Webhook. Instructions for usage and how to create both incoming and outgoing Webhooks is described in detail within your Automation page.
